BMR Calculator
Calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation. Your BMR is the number of calories your body burns at rest.
About the Calculation
We use the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, which is widely considered the most accurate standard for calculating BMR.
Estimated BMR
This is the number of calories your body burns if you do nothing but rest for 24 hours.

What is BMR?
Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is the number of calories your body needs to perform basic life-sustaining functions at rest, such as breathing, circulation, and cell production.
BMR vs TDEE
TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) is your BMR multiplied by an activity factor. It represents the total calories you burn in a day including exercise and daily activities.
How to Use
Use your BMR to determine your caloric needs for weight loss, maintenance, or gain. To lose weight, consume fewer calories than your TDEE. To gain, consume more.
